These Terms govern your use of Digital Receipt, a B2B software-as-a-service product provided by Asterovasys Solutions. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This is not a substitute for legal advice.
1. The service
Digital Receipt lets subscribed businesses create, share, and manage digital sales receipts and related tools, subject to the features of your plan. The service is sold as a recurring subscription, not a one-time perpetual licence.
2. Licence (EULA)
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access Digital Receipt for your internal business operations during a paid or free subscription term. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or use the service to build a competing product. Each account is licensed for one user seat unless we agree otherwise in writing. Additional staff should use their own accounts if we offer multi-seat plans in the future.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract.
4. Subscriptions, renewal, and SST
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel through the billing portal or by contacting support before the renewal date. Fees are charged in MYR via our payment providers. Listed prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and exclude Sales and Service Tax (SST) unless shown otherwise at checkout. Failed payments may restrict access after a grace period. 5. Data ownership
You retain ownership of business and receipt data you submit. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the service. Customer details you put on receipts remain your responsibility (see Privacy Policy).
6. Receipts and micro-business scope
Receipts you create are operational sales records for you and your customers — a simple digital receipt tool, not a formal LHDN MyInvois e-invoice system. Customer details on a receipt are limited to name, phone, and email; we do not collect buyer TIN, BRN, or MSIC codes for tax-invoice workflows.
By using Digital Receipt, you confirm that your business is intended for standard micro-receipts (typically annual turnover under RM1 million) and does not currently require LHDN MyInvois API integration. Single receipts of RM10,000 and above are blocked in the app because those transactions generally require immediate e-invoicing under current Phase 4 guidelines — please split the sale or issue them via the MyInvois portal. You remain responsible for any tax invoices or filings that apply to your business.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, abuse sharing features, or store unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that threaten security or violate these Terms.
8. Service availability
Support hours, maintenance, and availability targets are described in our Service Level page. The service is provided on an “as is” basis except where we cannot exclude warranties under Malaysian law.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
